Meet The Studio Directors

Jane Donaldson

With a background in Big Tech, a love for storytelling, and rich experiences from Toronto to Singapore to Bangkok and the UK, Jane brings a unique global perspective to our community. Her deep commitment to mastering the art of fiction has led her to rigorously study narrative techniques and explore the nuances of storytelling, which she seamlessly integrates into her work. Currently residing in the UK, Jane is  crafting her debut novel, an upmarket literary fiction piece set against the vibrant and complex backdrop of expat life in Singapore.

Bonnie Prestel

Bonnie was an editor at Condé Nast Publishing in New York City before transitioning to a curriculum editor role at David C Cook. Over the years, she has edited over twenty-two books for various authors. Bonnie holds a Journalism degree from CSU and has written articles for the Denver Post, Rocky Mountain News, Manitou Marquee, and other publications. Her debut novel, Nine 1/2 Months, was published in 2020. Colorado based and working on her second novel, Bonnie remains dedicated to storytelling, editing, and helping authors refine their voices.
